Permanent Resident Canada has a list of skilled worker jobs or called "in demand" jobs that they would like people from all countries to apply. ( view the list on this web site) Periodically Canada updates this list after a complete labor analysis of the jobs that are the most difficult to fill from the Canadian labor force. Nursing is one example but there are 37 other job classifications that are considered "in demand." The best way to enter Canada is through Permanent Residency. (PR) Once PR is obtained through the skilled worker program all immediate family members are authorized to live and work in Canada. Canada fast tracks the skilled worker petition. Fast track is defined as about 10-12 months if there are no complications with your application. Canada qualifies your PR application through a point system. You need 67 points out of a total of 100. You are weighed heavily on your education, experience, English skills (important for healthcare jobs) age, and adaptability. ASMCI-USA/Philippines in partnership with Marc Laforce, a twenty year licensed Canadian Immigration Practitioner, will file your application and walk you through the process every step of the way to a new life in Canada. To verify that Marc is licensed to conduct immigration services for Canada as required by Canadian law, click here. If you would like an assessment of your chances to be qualified send a resume to Bob Keene at bkeene@asmci.com OR back up email at bkeene_asmci@yahoo.com .
